Al-Khalili, in the presence of Tulkarm Governor Dr. Kamil, opens a training session on preparing work plans and economic feasibility studies for women-led projects in Tulkarm.

The Minister of Women's Affairs, Ms. Mona Khalili, in the presence of the Governor of Tulkarm Governorate, Dr. Abdullah Kmeil, conducted a training on preparing action plans and economic feasibility studies for women's projects. This comes as part of the second phase of training within the framework of the Women's Economic Empowerment Project, implemented by the Ministry of Women's Affairs with funding from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, at Tulkarm Governorate premises, attended by the Deputy minister of Ministry of Women's Affairs, Ms. Buthaina Al-Salem, the accompanying delegation, and representatives from the grassroot women's institutions benefiting from the project.

The Governor of Tulkarm Governorate, Dr. Abdullah Kmeil, emphasized the importance of investing in building women's capacities and enhancing their skills in preparing work plans and feasibility studies, as this has an impact on developing women's projects, ensuring their sustainability, and enhancing their contribution to local development. He expressed being proud in Palestinian women and their achievements despite difficult circumstances, affirming that they have proven their ability to bear responsibility and succeed in various fields, and that supporting them economically represents an investment in the resilience of the family and society.

Al-Khalili confirmed that the economic empowerment of women is one of the main and key pillars of the Ministry of Women's Affairs, especially in light of the current economic and social conditions, pointing to the importance of supporting grassroot women's institutions and economic projects that enhance women's resilience and enable them to develop sustainable income sources and contribute to the development of their communities.

Al-Khalili explained that the training comes as a continuation of the first phase of the economic empowerment project, which included providing grants to support grassroot women's institutions and economic projects, with the aim of enhancing their capabilities and developing their projects. She emphasized the importance of building women's capacities in planning and management to ensure the sustainability of the projects and increase their chances of success. In addition building women capacities, will be encouraging qualitative and non-traditional projects, including those related to the green economy and sustainable development.
